Yost, we have proclaimed May 3, 2012 as
"Don Yost Day" in the City of Monrovia.
Don Yost has been an active member of
our club for almost half a century. For
more than 47 years Don had a perfect
attendance record at our weekly meetings.
This has been spoiled by his illness.
Don is currently suffering from another
recurrence of cancer, and has recently
been put on hospice care. Don and his
wife Linda are beloved members of the
Monrovia Community and cherished
members of the Kiwanis Family.
At the City Council meeting on May 1,
2012, "Don Yost Day" was officially
proclaimed by the Kiwanis Club, and that
proclamation acknowledged by the Mayor
of Monrovia and the City Council.
Don has truly been missed at our meetings
and our prayers are with him and his family
at this time.
We love you Don!
